Out Door Patio

Dec 27th 2020

FINALLY DETAILS ON  MY OUTDOOR PATIO!

FRAME OF THE DECK- We went with a low profile wood patio. I really love the wood vibes, it gives such an earthy and rustic feel. Concrete is cheaper and so is grass but I really wanted an earthy boho vibe. Concrete will give a  more modern feel and grass I do love I just don't like to keep it up. It drives me crazy when it grows too high! Even an inch.

PATIO COVER- I originally wanted a permanent patio cover but we ended up going with pre made cabanas. It was a lot easier because they came with curtains and there is actually two sets, a screen curtain and a regular curtain that you can zip each side up and close the whole area completely. It’s pretty awesome. Great for summer and winter. We bought two gazebos, put them right next to each other and put a gutter right in between them for when it rained.

ENTERTAINMENT: I ended up getting a TV rather than projector because I don’t really like the look of projectors. I feel like their picture quality isn’t great and didn’t want something to put up every time. So I bought a regular TV with a stand and a waterproof cover. I’m telling you it’s awesome because it’s out there all the time and you can go have movie night, game day whenever you want and there’s no set up. It’s like an extra living room!

The old karaoke machine we had underneath the TV we got rid of and got professional DJ equipment. If you’re really into karaoke and love to entertain I would definitely invest in DJ equipment. The sound and quality is so much better. If you do get a small karaoke machine I’d definitely invest in some better quality microphones and set it up to a good speaker. The smaller version is great for children! You can get a similar DJ set HERE

We have a bar speaker we hooked to the TV right underneath it with surround as well. Its amazing how much louder we needed the TV to be being outside.

DINING- We made our farm house table and I LOVE decorating it! You can see Christmas  HERE  and Thanksgiving  HERE. You can also order a table from YOUR GYPSY WAGON if you are local. Just shoot me an email.

BBQ-  We have a gas grill, a smoker, beer on tap and a large wood cooler all separate because this is actually temporary. The area I’m showing you right now is just going to be an all barbecue/dining area with a bar and stools. The sitting area is actually going to move closer to my pool.......... eventually.

We seriously spend everyday out here when it isn't cold!
